In the future, please leave your original post intact and add a comment detailing what you did to fix it. These threads will be around for a while and its often helpful to future readers if they have the same problem you did.

If anyone is interested the original is below and the fix was just a simple reinstall – for whatever reason the Tools folder wasn’t installed properly the first time. For the difference between the most recent version of FlashDevelop and the one used in the tutorial, I believe 4.4.1, I was referring to the GUI and Settings Name changes that weren’t reflected in the tutorial and causing some confusion. Step 5 in the tutorial is where this can be found.

(Original Post) So, I’m new to the FlashPunk community – having troubles and such. I’m following the tutorial for FlashDevelop setup and using version(4.5.2.5), and I’ve been drinking a bit for the holidays, I can’t seem to get things setup properly due to naming differentiation between the version used in the tutorial and the most recent…a helping hand would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks :slight_smile: I hate to be that guy, but I also want to make sure we can spare future users the frustration of coming across a promising thread with no solution.

Is there something I can add to the tutorial to make things more clear? I haven’t updated it recently so I’m not surprised things didn’t line up exactly. In any case, welcome to the forums!
