Separation Anxiety

(Jonathan Stoler) #1

Just released my first FlashPunk game, Separation Anxiety.

It’s a remake of a game I made for Ludum Dare 2 years ago, although it’s so different now that I prefer to just think of it as a new release.

You can find it here, at my website: http://tasteofmoonlight.com/games/separation-anxiety

I’d love to hear your feedback! Tell me what you think of it!

PS: If people are interested in the more technical details about how I got it to look and feel the way I did, I’m thinking about writing a post about it. Let me know if you’re curious!

I like it, reminds me of Corrypt. And I do love the monitor effect.

Pretty sweet. Great game, great effect.

Nice little game! I think the effect can be reproduced using punk.fx? Loved it!

Yes, I used punk.fx excessively!

Since people seem interested in the effect, I’m gonna do a write-up on how I got it to work. I’m a bit busy right now, but hopefully I can get it out sometime this weekend.

Also, thanks for all your responses. It means a lot.

Sorry for double-posting - but I wanted a notification to be sent out and I don’t think edits do that - so hopefully this is okay, but I wrote up a post on how the effects in the game work.

Here’s the thread for that.
