Hi there, I have been working on my own mix between starling and flashpunk, i have been thinking on release it opensource some day after the release of my first game with it but as long as i dont like to release incomplete things, i would like to know how much people will be interested on this.
The main difference between the current starling punk is that the main target is to make all the flashpunk original code compatible by only changing the imports of the code
Also the current version has some starling assetmanager integration to make the games work even better on the air mobile.
Let me show you an example. Here is the flashpunk game Kukoo Machines:
And here is the game running on an ipad after 3 days of porting (the most part of the time by making the textures compatible with starling) Running at steady 60 fps
Im pretty sure the Punking has a lot of potential, but im currently very busy and I need to know that is worth the time to release it opensource
