Not really a Flashpunk question; you might get more help on one of the more generic Flash forums. I don’t have any experience with this so I have nothing helpful to add.

I purchased SecureSWF back when I firsted started making Flash games and still use it today. I’m not sure if they’re still doing it, but FGL had a coupon for its members that would chop off 25%.

Here’s the long and short of it: If someone wants to decompile your code and use it, they will. Even if you run it through protection software, if bad people want it hacked, it will get hacked. Similarly, the majority of people will not try to hack your software. I find it’s a bigger pain to try to protect against the 1% who are out to get you (and who will get you anyway).

That said, I don’t know how to protect an .swf from being decompiled. I did Google it and I found this: How to Prevent SWF from Decompiling?
