OGMO Rectangles vs Bitstring for loading maps

Just a quick question; I want to load a map in the style of mario or metroid, is there a major difference between having the tile maps exported as Rectangles and Bitstring? I know coding-wise there will be differences, but is there anything else other than that? What would be better to use for a platformer?

It doesn’t matter at all. Both will produce the same output, so just pick the one you like.
