Hey everyone, lots of good news today.
First off, I’ve successfully migrated the forums from an Amazon EC2 instance to a Digital Ocean instance. The big plus to this is that server costs have been reduced by over half.
Additionally, automated backups are set to run each day and, upon completion, are moved to an Amazon S3 bucket. That means, if the server were to fail catastrophically, we’d still have our data. That’s a wonderful thing.
As far as I can tell, everything seems to be shipshape. If you have any problems, please let me know.
