I’m a programmer with about 3 years experience. Currently, I came up with a game idea so I wanna give it a try. Our team already got 1 programmer, 1 game designer, and 1 sound designer.
About the game:
It’s a 2D pixel art action-adventure game where all the enemies are witty and tricky, the enemies can be benefited by each other and even the environment, also the same type of mob will get different abilities. The player’s goal is to defeat all enemies and the final boss that behave differently according to their surroundings and teammates. This game looks similar to Hyper Light Drifter at first sight, but the mobs are stronger and more numerous.
What we need:
We need 1-2 pixel art artists who can help us with all the pixel art assets to include character animations and environment textures. you don’t have to be familiar with the game engine, I will handle all those works like editing animation, editing the light, and coding the shaders for visual effects, etc. The visual effects in our game are gonna be awesome.
Our goal is to finish the first build in 2-3 months, hopefully, you could take 10 hours per week to make progress. This is a hobby project, but if the progress goes well, we may profit from it and split the money evenly, the money is not our main goal, though.
