Internal Debugger Exception

(Nate ) #1

Hey guys!

I just started getting this error whenever I try to compile for test playing.

The game starts but due to the error trace statements are not functioning.

Does anyone know what might be causing this? This may sound odd, but I left FD open all night, I normally close it. And when I returned to it this morning I when to compile to test play and see where I left off and that was when I first got this error but didn’t think twice about it. Everything else seems to be working, I would just like to be able to trace again and I wanted to make sure I didn’t break anything.

Thanks!

Do traces start working again if you just close and re-open Flashdevelop? I get that error occasionally but I don’t think I’ve ever had that side effect.

Okay thanks!

Maybe a system reboot would solve it also

Also traces still do not work once I restart Flashdevelop

What is the error you’re getting when trying to debug your code?

I rebooted and it went away. But when I would debug, before my adobe player window would pop up, there would be a generic looking red X error message and all it said was “Internal Debugger Exception”

The reboot seems to have fixed it?

This isn’t the first time I have had strange issues with Flashdevelop after leaving it running all night… could just be my computer though.

Oh that is strange. I only ever get that error when exiting a SWF I’m debugging, never at the beginning.
