Game sometimes plays on fast forward (just in flash debugger not in browser too)

Its not rly a help topic but i didnt know where to put it. It didnt happened to me too often but when i give the game to a friend to test it on google drive the game sometimes is like on fast forward(the game speed is like on x1.5-2).Also it dosent affect the sound speed. As long as i dont have this problem when i try to build it and it works fine on browser it dosent bothers me too much but i was just curious. Did it happened to you guys be4 too?

I guess it is about processor power. You should activate frameSkip mode. And could i ask how many FPS are you using for the game?

(billy2000) #3

Well he has better cpu than me. I use 60fps

ahh, then i have no another answer for this… could you be using FP.elapsed wrong in somewhere? Or we should wait for another answer… hope you’ll solve that

(billy2000) #5

well i dont rly use fp.elapsed at all in this game. And well i was just being curious thats all.

Then his game is not running on fast forward. Your browser cannot cope with the processor power your game requires, and therefore can’t run the game at 60fps. As you are not using FP.elapsed, this affects the speed of all your game objects.

Wow didnt knew fp.elapsed is that important. Ill use it next time thx.

actualy i just took a look in the console and its 60 fps on normal speed…i dont think its increaseing fps more than that…

(Abel Toy) #9

That’s weird then… Dunno what could cause the issue. Both your computer and his run it at full 60fps?

(billy2000) #10

yep and and i have sometimes that fast forward too
