About Internet Explorer & Flash

(Bora Kasap) #1

I’m working on a complex action strategy game with flashpunk since last month. I was testing my game on Adobe Flash Player.EXE, but today i’ve tried to run it on Internet Explorer 9.0 as an embed in HTML file.

I’ve shocked. How can Internet Explorer run my complex flash project SO MUCH REFLEXIVE and ON REALLY PERFECT AND %100 ACCURATED FRAMERATE…

I don’t know how… But this is great… I can’t understand why Flash Player.EXE can’t do this…

this is strange, did you edit the C:\Users\XXX\mm.cfg file? it has some global paramteres for all the stand alone players, including PreloadSWF that can load another swf before actual file.

my mm.cfg file looks like this right now. What about that?

PolicyFileLog=1
PolicyFileLogAppend=0
ErrorReportingEnable=1
TraceOutputFileEnable=1

mm.cfg was a wild guess. it looks normal to me. did you try to compare versions of both activex and standalone player?
